CAA is an Act further to amend the Citizenship Act, 1955. The citizen of India is defined, identified, verified and distinguished from infiltrators under a set of three laws: the Citizenship Act of 1955, the Foreigners Act of 1946 and the Passport Act of 1920.

The Amendment of citizenship law provides Indian citizenship to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi and Christian minority communities who fled from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan due to religious persecution to India before January 2015. Talks are on against and for. This is the time to know what really CAA is.
