I am extremely glad that Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry, an apex body representing industry, trade and services has embarked on organizing Agro Food Tech Expo (FAFE 2020) with the key objective of unleashing business potential in food processing, which would further help in achieving the national mission of doubling farmers' income by attracting new investments in agro and food processing sectors.

Karnataka is the only state, which has an institutional mechanism with an exclusive policy for agri-business development. I have great pleasure in extending an invitation to all the national and international agri-communities and food processing industries to participate in large numbers and take advantage of the business potential in the state of Karnataka.

I wish the event a grand success and hope the Expo will explore new avenues in food processing and agri-business.
